IMMIGRATION APPLICATION FEE

We are required to provide price information if you assist clients with the preparation and submission of immigration applications, excluding asylum applications. The following types of standards (not a premium application) applications are covered by the rules:


SERVICE PROVIDED BY FEE EARNER:

Mr Syed Kamal Hossain and Mr Z T Simret

Mr Syed Kamal Hossain is a solicitor with more than 10 years PQE and Mr Z T Simret is a Legal Executive with 7 years PQE. Both fee earner has understanding and experience in complex immigration issues and individual circumstances.

Applications for naturalisation or registration under the British Nationality Act 1981 £280 per/hour 4-6 hours*
For European Economic Area (EEA) nationals and their family members application under the applicable EEA Regulations or Immigration Rules, including. applications for permanent residence, residence cards, and registration certificates. £280 per/hour 4-6 hours*

*The number of hours depends on the number of documents, whether they need to be translated, whether anything is missing and how long it will take to obtain the missing documents. For premium service please call us for the pricing.


DISBURSEMENTS

Disbursements (not included in costs set out above). Disbursements are costs payable to third party such as application fee, NHS fee, fingerprint fee and expert fee and interpreter fee. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.

Biometric information or fingerprint fee is £19.20.

You also may have to pay for the interpreter average hourly rate is £35 plus vat per hour for more details please see below.

Independent expert reports e.g. medical experts. These are not required in many cases: we will let you know as soon as possible if we consider an expert report is necessary.

If there is an interview and we do attend with you, there will be additional disbursements in respect of our mileage/travel expenses.

HOURLY RATE VAT:

Value added tax (VAT) in relation to immigration matters may depend on where you live and what immigration permission you have. Our hourly rate fee includes VAT where and when applicable and payable. No additional VAT will be charged to you.

EXAMPLE OF AVERAGE FEES AND DISBURSEMENTS OF SPOUSE VISA APPLICATION

On average, this type of work takes between 10 - 12 hours to complete. Hourly rate is £250 per hour inclusive of vat. This means that on average costs are between £2500 and £3000. Average disbursements £3000 - £3050, vat not applicable.

The exact number of hours it will take depends on the circumstances in your case such as:

The amount of supporting evidence that we need to consider. Which language(s) you speak, whether you are applying with other dependants.

If you can provide sufficient evidence at our first meeting and clearly meet the applicable Immigration Rules, the cost is likely to be lower range.

On the other hand, if there is any issues or difficulties you had previously which need to be addressed or if you have a dependent estimated hours will likely to be higher and so the costs.


INTERPRETERS

Interpreter fees difficult to estimate, can rack up and are a significant proportion of the overall cost. You do not have to use interpreter we choose. You are very much welcome to bring a friend or family member to come and help interpret.

Sometimes a client may only need a couple of hours with an interpreter, other applications may need 10 or 15 hours. Our estimated hour will significantly increase if an interpreter must be used.


WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED

The work will involve:

  • Discussing your circumstances in detail and confirming whether this is the most appropriate application for you to make and what other options may be available to you.
  • Giving you advice about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the criteria.
  • If you do not fulfil certain criteria, whether this can be overcome and how, which on average takes X hours.
  • Considering the supporting evidence, you have provided, which we anticipate will take X to XX hours*;
  • Where necessary, helping you obtain further evidence (such as medical records and bank statements), including taking statements of any witnesses.
  • Preparing your application and submitting it on your behalf, which we anticipate will take X hours.
  • Attendance at a Home Office interview: if the Home Office ask you to attend an interview, we will give you clear advice (and discuss the possibility of us attending with you) at the appropriate time. This could be between X and X hours of work.
  • Giving you advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you need to take.
  • The number of hours depends on the number of documents, whether they need to be translated, whether anything is missing and how long it will take to obtain the missing documents Disbursements (not included in costs set out above):
  • Where the Home Office refuse your application, advice, and assistance in relation to any appeal.
  • Our work is not covered to make enquiry of the progress of the application once submitted.

We will normally be able to submit this type of application within X weeks of you instructing us, but we will let you know at the earliest opportunity if it is likely to take longer than this.
